Kenneth’s Story: “Once I got to the hospital, I had an EKG done and about 100 new people showed up and I had 100 new friends at here at Danbury Hospital.”
After doing some yard work at his home, Kenneth started feeling ill with an upset stomach, pain, and chest pressure. He called 9-1-1 and immediately was in an ambulance on his way to Danbury Hospital; he was experiencing a heart attack.
30 minutes after his heart attack, Kenneth received a life-saving stent and is able to look forward to his life.

Nora’s Story: “Made me feel as if somebody cared, and at that time, that’s when you need someone to really care.”
Nora had been experiencing problems with pain in her heart and shortness of breath when walking up her drive way or for long distances. With her heart valve team, Nora decided to have an advanced, minimally-invasive heart valve replacement surgery called Trans catheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR).
