If you want something that is not on the menu, check with your nurse or food service representative. We are able to accommodate most requests that you may have, including kosher and vegetarian meals.

In-house Phones
All patient rooms have a personal phone at the bedside with an individual number. This number can be given to your family and friends at your discretion.
- Your family and friends may dial your room between 7:00 am and 9:00 pm. After 9:00 pm calls will be directed to the nursing station on your unit to be forwarded to your phone (at the nurse's discretion). This assures you and your roommate of uninterrupted rest or privacy when desired.
- You may make telephone calls at any time. If you require assistance or experience any problem with your phone, please dial 0 for the hospital's operator
For local calls, dial 9, wait for the dial tone and dial the number
Long distance calls require dialing 8 + 0 + the area code (if necessary) + the number. An operator will then come on the line to arrange billing to your credit card or to place the call collect.
- An amplifier telephone is available for hearing-impaired patients at no extra cost. Please notify your nurse to arrange this complimentary service.
- A Telecommunications Device for the Deaf (TDD) is available at no charge to enable patients who are deaf or hearing impaired to use the telephone. Should you require a TDD, please notify your nurse.
If you are calling a hospital extension from inside the hospital, simply dial the last four digits, without the 350 or 210 prefix.
