New Milford Hospital recently hosted a reception for community residents at the home of Dr. Paul and Margaret Griner to share information about the status of the Hospital's proposed affiliation with Danbury Hospital. Guests were treated to refreshments while learning about the plan that would join New Milford and Danbury hospitals under one regional corporate health organization to better serve the communities in Northern Fairfield and Litchfield counties, and nearby New York State. More than 100 people attended the event. The Hospital also hosted another June reception honoring the donors who made possible the renovations to "Main Street," which is the hospital corridor including the newly renovated entrance, lobby and gift shop.
