Welcome to the Regional Cancer Center at New Milford Hospital

New Milford Hospital is a community hospital and Planetree affiliate dedicated to clinical excellence and patient-centered care that nurtures every patient's mind, body and spirit. Our Regional Cancer Center is "Approved with Commendation" by the American College of Surgeons, Commission on Cancer, and accredited in both Radiology and Radiation Oncology by the American College of Radiology. We participate in extensive quality improvement efforts to ensure we maintain the highest standard of care for our patients, and offer special programs designed to help cancer survivors address their long-term health and well-being.

A hallmark at the Center is the extensive cancer case review that occurs for patients, bringing the collective expertise of many specialists together to provide a comprehensive treatment plan utilizing the most effective technology and personal care. We offer extensive resources for patients and their families through a multidisciplinary cancer team for screening and prevention, diagnosis, treatment, education and support. We maintain an active clinical trials/research program, a state-of-the-art Women's Imaging Center, and comprehensive Breast Care Program with breast health navigator services. 

New technology at the Regional Cancer Center includes a 64-slice low-dose CT scanner, an open bore 1.5 Tesla MRI offering sharper images and greater patient comfort, and a newly upgraded linear accelerator, the Varian Trilogy model, offering advanced capabilities for treating cancer with radiation therapy.

Patients and their families also receive support with valet parking, our Spiritual Care Program and Interfaith Chapel, support groups, and the amenities of our award-winning Dining and Food Services and Planetree Gift Shop.
