Phase I Cardiac Rehabilitation

Phase 1 of the New Milford Hospital cardiac rehab program is an inpatient education meeting regarding lifestyle changes.

Phase 2 Cardiac Rehabilitation

Phase 2 is a 12-week (three times a week) regimen and dietary counseling by physician referral following a patient’s hospital discharge. Phase 1 and Phase 2 is typically covered by insurance.

Phase 3 Cardiac Rehabilitation

At the end of Phase 2, patients have the option of joining the Phase 3 maintenance program, where the focus is ongoing exercise, lifestyle modification and maintaining gains.
