General Cardiology: Sometimes called non-invasive cardiology, this is the medical specialty focusing on the diagnosis and treatment of all types of heart disease.

Cardiac Surgery:  Our cardiac surgeons at Danbury Hospital have completed specialty training in cardiology and surgery, with additional training focused on surgical treatment of heart disease.

Vascular Surgery: Vascular surgeons have completed specialty training in vascular (care of the veins and arteries) medicine and surgery.

Electrophysiology (EP): A medical subspecialty of cardiology, electrophysiology focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of conditions affecting and affected by the heart’s electrical system.
