NEW MILFORD, Connecticut – June 15, 2016 – The New Milford Hospital Campus at 30 Elm Street is hosting a summer series of Strong Women™ Strong Bones (SWSB) fitness classes on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, June 20 to August 6 from 10 to 11:15 am (choose two classes within the same week - no class on July 4 and July 8), and on Tuesdays, June 21 to August 9 (once a week - no class on July 5) from 4:45 to 6 pm.
The SWSB fitness program is targeted to middle-aged and older women to increase strength, balance and flexibility, and is appropriate for both sedentary and active women.
Strong Women™ Strong Bones is a nationally recognized fitness program designed to prevent and reverse osteoporosis/osteopenia and promote general health and wellness. Health and wellness benefits include arthritis relief, restoration of balance and flexibility, strengthening of bones, proper weight maintenance, and improved glucose control and heart health.
Cost to attend two classes within the same week is $85 and $49 on Tuesdays only.
