NORWALK, Connecticut, September 13, 2016 – Michael M. Lynch, MD, orthopedic surgeon with Norwalk Hospital, will discuss technological advances in management of knee pain and knee replacement techniques on Wednesday, October 26, at 6:30 pm in the Activity Center at the Riverbrook Regional YMCA, 404 Danbury Road in Wilton. This program is being presented free of charge as a community service.
Dr. Lynch, who is in practice with Coastal Orthopedics, will discuss common causes of knee joint pain, as well as the latest treatments and prevention. His presentation will be followed by a question and answer session.
Dr. Lynch has been practicing orthopedics in the Greater Norwalk area since 1992. He is a graduate of Dartmouth College and Dartmouth Medical School. He completed the Harvard combined Orthopedic Residency Program and a Fellowship in Sports Medicine at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore. He expanded his pediatric orthopedic knowledge at Boston Children’s Hospital.
Board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery, Dr. Lynch won the prestigious Scallon Award for innovation in surgery. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Fairfield County Medical Association and was Past Chairman of the Board of Trustees. Dr. Lynch has been named a CT Magazine Top Doc for seven consecutive years: 2009-2015.
